Kathleen
Pilates literally changed Kathleen’s life. Her passion for the practice stems from her personal journey of recovery following cervical spinal surgery to repair a congenital defect. She has experienced first-hand the restorative nature of Pilates, which has been instrumental in her ability to regain and maintain full function and mobility of her spine, overcome chronic pain, and consistently achieve a high level of fitness conditioning. She loves how Pilates enhances her mind, body, and spirit — and she’s excited to share its many benefits with her clients.
Kathleen received her comprehensive Pilates training through BASI Pilates®, Body Arts and Science International. She teaches on all major Pilates equipment including the reformer, cadillac, wunda chair, barrels and mat—and she brings compassion and dedication to her clients, Prior to developing her Pilates practice, Kathleen spent several years building a successful management-level Corporate Communications career in the biotechnology industry. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley.
When she’s not doing Pilates, Kathleen enjoys spending time with her family and their dog Olive, dancing, hiking, giving back to the community, and getting together with family and friends.
